Diary 4/30

I have already wanted to write the English diary for so long time, but never truely do it.
Today , I'm going to brake this fence to write my first English diary. As for improving my english writing ability, I try to read as much as english article as I can. But it seems my level of English writing are still around there. No more, just there.
Because of that I make up my mind that I really need to push myself a little bit to catch up the appropriate level which I need.

Ok, after describing the reason why I choose to start to write the diary, I think it's high time to talk about what happened today.
Today, I did the presentation of CALL. It is something I have prepared for about four weeks, but Im still a little bit nervous when I present it in front of the Classmates. As I get nervous my speed becomes out of control. Faster and Faster........
Finally become crazy...........................
Then I go to the cram school and come home and Get my first Personal Laptop!!!
How nice it is, to be honest, That's also the reason why I start to write the diary because I can have the place to save the file I have writen. How perfect it is!!!!
Briefly speaking, Today is such a normal day with some excitement and HAPPINESS!!

Looking for next Diary

Ps. because this video is around 150MB big, so I can't succeed in uploading it into the blog, I'm sorry for that~

#Assignment 6: Listen to ESL Podcast 466 again and post your note in your blog

ESL Podcast 466 – Having a Good or Bad Bedside Manner
This is an article about doctors. What vocabularies might the doctors use to describe
the sickness. There are lots of new vocabularies for me. It really worth learning.

The content(article) :

Cho: I’m not sure I’m cut out to be a doctor.

Joy: I think you’ll be great. I’ve seen you with patients and you have a great bedside manner – not like Gregory.

Cho: Why? What’s wrong with his bedside manner?

Joy: I’ve seen him with patients and he can be really callous. For instance, I was in the room last week when he was telling one of his patients that she was taking a turn for the worse.

Cho: What did he say?

Joy: He just blurted it out. He told her the diagnosis, and he didn’t even try to soften the news when she asked about her prognosis. He did absolutely nothing to try to comfort or reassure her.

Cho: I feel sorry for the patient.

Joy: That’s the point. Gregory didn’t, and it didn’t seem to faze him that the patient was very upset and close to hysterics.

Cho: That’s terrible. I’ll try to remember to be more compassionate with my patients.

Joy: Don’t worry. It’s against your nature to be anything but considerate
